Taken from my book “As In the Days of Noah” written in 2015, after my TBI in 2014, Printed in 2017
Read, Think, See & Compare how this relates to today’s world we are living in. (My apologies if any grammatical errors due to TBI)
“And I beheld, and heard an angel flying through the
midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, Woe, woe,
woe, to the inhabiters of the earth by reason of the
other voices of the trumpet of the three angels, which
are yet to sound!”- Revelation 8:13
This last-minute addition in the series of the times in which
we live in, relating to the days of Noah, comes with a very heart
wrenching, white knuckled grip on faith. It was in a form of a
dream where I had found myself walking in a sense of disbelief
and surrealism, of which I did not fully understand.
The atmosphere surrounding me was heavy with grief as if a loss
so significant was upon us all. There was so much confusion
among the surrounding people in the near distance as they
were in a daze, although it did not seem to be relevant to the
message at hand.
In the dream, I was approaching a short flight of stairs that
were outside of a one-story building. As I followed my young
son down the stairs I had noticed that I was holding the
American flag at a slant to my left. Upon realizing the flag was
tipped, it abruptly became a gun, to which I had questioned in
my mind, how to appropriately hold and carry it along as I
went.
Quickly I grasped how as I watched my son carry it, as
I figured he knew how; partly due to his interest in various
soldiers that he studied as he played video games. But, this
was no game! This was apparently real to the time in which
we live and most disturbingly so. Indeed, I was carrying the
weapon the correct way.
Incidentally however, this dream of me vividly and
confusingly carrying the American flag tilted, was on the cusp
of the 2016 Olympic games held in Rio.
It was a couple nights before the Opening Ceremonies that I had had this revealing
dream. It weighed on me heavily about the meaning of
carrying it in such a way, even though in the dream it quickly
became a gun.
When I had seen the footage of the Opening
Ceremonies with an American Olympic athlete carrying in the
American flag tilted, as if it was a sign of submission, it was as
if a huge light bulb lit right up.
I’m not really sure what I could not believe more; carrying the flag tilted in my dream, or
actually seeing someone do just that at the Olympic games.
What could this have all meant?
In analyzing this particular dream that just would not leave the forefront of my thoughts, I could understand and reason to the fact that we have as a
nation, become very submissive.
We are no longer a strong nation, nor are we a superpower, any longer. Our economy
has fallen so far that we see the devastating effects in almost
every average American household.
Lost in Submission
Our jobs have been moved overseas with our exports
decreasing while the importing has increased to the expense
of our livelihood and health; as much of what we allow into
this country is tainted and harmful.
Our borders are open to allow terrorists such easy access to our country, making us
vulnerable, and are also given fairer treatment than our own
soldiers are when they come home from defending us.
If you are born and raised in this country, your liberties are
fleeting while illegal citizens’ liberties grow. ‘Why?’ You may
wonder. They have become the new backbone of this country,
scattered within, working the jobs that we legalized citizens
should have more of a right to obtain.
As a result, our homeless population has been increasing within and our
government responds by spending billions on foreign affairs.
Sure, we are still generous as a nation and help those in need
through aide, which is absolutely wonderful, but we also need
to truly help our own as well through protecting our citizens
and maintaining a stable economy for our future.
We have lost the desire to truly look out for our own; for our
brother. Although that being said, would we buckle if illegals
left? Probably, at least for a period of time, that is until we can
fill the employment positions that feed the masses and
ultimately their desires with their impatiently ‘want it here
and now’ attitudes. If we were more patient, we wouldn’t
buckle.
Have we truly become a population of self-absorbed
citizens lacking patience and understanding of the grand
scheme of things? Do we realize at all what is at stake for every
American?
Do any of us see what our elected officials have
brought upon us?
We are truly in for an important election,
this time around! We need to consider what is best for this
country and every citizen’s protection within it. We have to
get back to the basics.
How did it get this far?
Well, that answer falls on the elected officials that we let into our offices, while we were too busy being distracted with frivolous details of a worldly life: such as
shopping for the next new and biggest thing, getting lost in all
types of distractions including social media, also exchanging
fighting to maintain our freedoms for fighting for idolatry
filled sports’ teams.
Don’t forget we want the cheapest and easiest of anything no matter what the cost; for instance, what keeps our bodies alive in the name of cheap food.
We are unsuspecting to the real cost of all our choices to live
in excess with ease; until we see it pronounce itself in our ill
health, lack of money with high debt, and lack of overall
freedom.
We only think we are free, but really, we have
become in bondage. We have become as zombies feeding off
of deception and lies, grabbing the next bone tossed our way.
Some may wonder what has happened within the human
brain and consciousness as moral decay becomes the fastest
growing disease of our era.
Add on top of the many factitious symptoms that tag along with living the “American Dream”, we both celebrate and dull our happiness, along with our pain
the same way; with substance abuse.
Could our country, our world really be in such a decline as to
no longer have any honor or respect for what is good and right
any longer? Is there any virtue or integrity left within the
land? What may come to be in the days, weeks, months, and
if we’re graced, years ahead?
A possible outcome could be as in the dream because God is
being removed from a country that was founded under God.
We were and still are, one nation under God, indivisible, with
justice and liberty for all. Have we forgotten that, or do we
want to re-write what we stand for?
And if you or I say, “Well, it’s not “me’ doing that!” No, but we’re still allowing it by
whom we elect into offices, what we allow in our towns and
even in our schools. We allow it when we do not stick up for
freedoms and the rights of the less fortunate, or even our
youth. We do it when we don’t stand up for our beliefs in God.
This nation, despite the underground secret society of powers
that be, started as a Christian nation. And although we have
pagan imagery and symbolism on our currency (which is not
only not good, but also can be idolatry especially if we are
money driven, as we cannot follow two masters); but we also
do have inscribed for all to read, “In God We Trust”.
We as citizens of this country, not only believed in the One
true God, but we also put Him first in our lives and waited on
Him for answers to life’s puzzling challenges; rather than
taking matters and revenge into our own hands. We had the
freedom to worship God both privately and publicly, which
was so very longed for from the first settlers of our nation.
So how can we just let that be ripped away, to accept false
religions, false gods, and display to the rest of the world that
all of their efforts to obtain and maintain freedom was in vain?
How can we justify the legal system, the educational system,
and almost any public place or forum now that so blatantly
removes God for false doctrine and proven scientific lies?
How can we allow our children to be wrongly taught on so
many levels? Can we really live with ourselves if we truly knew
what we were doing, or are we just absolutely blinded and only
“think” that we see?
Becoming Bold in Truth
Eternity lasts forever so to be wrong about this is beyond
futile. We do not have that misconceived luxury of just going
with the flow of the “world’s” way.
The Universal Law of “Cause and Effect” plays a significant part in the choices and
decisions we make; and even more so as a whole nation. If we
still truly want God’s Blessing on our nation, we need to keep
Him in the forefront of everything, just as when our country
began and was Blessed; because the alternative consequence
or effect is wrath.
It’s not too late for any one person, or nation. God is still here.
He did not lift Himself away from us, yet. He did not unleash
His wrath upon our nation for blasphemy and the refusal of
His love, yet. There is still time. There is still hope. For God
still hears the prayers of His children. He was, is and will
forever be, the One in control!
“Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice: and
let men say among the nations, The LORD reigneth.”-
1Chronicles 16:31
Broken to Pieces
As I climbed down the stairs, it came to my mind to sing the
National Anthem. I lucidly did not think I even remembered
the words, but somehow, they all came to me and I sang my
ultimate heart out.
I bellowed out the words so deeply heartfelt as I held onto any shred of bravery I had left.
Tears began to flow down my face as I trembled out the words to a
melody, for our country. For the once God fearing people that
had so abundantly received God’s grace, but had now turned
their back on the moral, the upright, and the just, to live as the
heathen full of self-righteousness, lusts and pride; our country
was disintegrating before the worlds eyes.
We are being broken into pieces.
“They are all grievous revolters, walking with slanders:
they are brass and iron; they are all corrupters.”-
Jeremiah 6:28
“And the fourth kingdom shall be strong as iron:
forasmuch as iron breaketh in pieces and subdueth all
things: and as iron that breaketh all these, shall it
break in pieces and bruise.”- Daniel 2:40
Just as in the book of Daniel, when he was interpreting King
Nebuchadnezzar’s dream of a great image representing future
kingdoms and what was to be in the latter days, what is
unfolding could be the interpretation playing out.
The king dreamt of a troubling image that stood before him, with a head
of gold, breast and arms of silver, belly and thighs of brass,
legs of iron, and feet part iron, part clay. He had also seen a
stone cut without hands that broke them all to pieces.
The head represented man having rule over creatures of the
land and sky. The body represented kingdoms set up after
King Nebuchadnezzar’s reign, the fourth one of which will be
strong as iron, powerful enough to crush other empires, yet
will be a divided kingdom as in the iron mixed with clay; the
kingdom will be partly strong and partly broken.
Since the feet of this great image was shown to be an
adulteration of iron and clay, as in mingling with the seed of
man, yet not cling to one another, it presents the truth that
iron is not mixed with clay.
Therefore, when the day comes that God will set up His kingdom that will stand forever, the others will be broken to pieces as they are of corruption.
Could this land of ours from so long ago, that was not
represented as the America that we now know it to be, yet was
inhabited even before our settlers, be one of such kingdoms in
the dream of Nebuchadnezzar? Could it be the new Babylon?
Could a ruler of deception be cause for our demise? Perhaps
we as a whole country, are to blame for the allowance of the
removal of God from almost everything; and as a result, the
removal of His Blessing upon us.
We need a truth in righteousness to keep us on the right path. We need to know
Who it is that really reigns.
This dream left an intense impression that it was no small
event that had taken place moments before my broadened
length of the short walk down the stairs.
Feelings of the resulting effects of just how our country has diminished
morally weighed quite heavily, as if a large portion of the
country, to say the least, had fallen off the face of the earth.
Everyone that was left were completely lost in a state of
confusion, shock and chaos, as they were at a loss to a degree
beyond any extreme imaginable. What was left? Was there
any shred of dignity or bravery? There was just so much nothingness and emptiness.
Still, I sang those words that were written so long ago, for a brave nation that truly cared. Although the lyrics were originally from a poem titled
“Defense of Fort McHenry” by Francis Scott Key, which was
written in 1814 after being witness to the Battle of Fort
McHenry in the War of 1812, when the British ships of the
Royal Navy bombarded Fort McHenry in the Baltimore
Harbor.
The lyrics are best remembered as signifying an
American victory. Ever since that experience, Francis Scott
Key was said to be inspired by a large American flag flying
triumphantly; as so many people, many Americans since that
time, have been as well. That is until recently when we witness some Americans refusing to stand allegiance for what our flag represents, as well as some people completely disrespecting the flag by either stepping on or burning it.
The flag should never be looked upon as a form of idolatry, but as a reminder
of freedom; a nation under God.
The Lost Humbleness
There was a time when there was a sense of pride and
humbleness to be an American, as we deeply understood what
it meant to be free. And although it was of great cost to the
countless lives lost from many backgrounds, whether native,
bond or free, there truly was a deep and sincere appreciation;
an absolute indebtedness with a true thankfulness of the
heart, to be able to live “free”, because of the sacrifice of
others.
Our older and past generations understood this deep within
their core as it was displayed daily in the lives they lived out.
They were grateful to God for being able to live and raise a
family with freedom to worship, freedom to speak and freedom to live peaceful lives.
They knew how much it meant and were prepared not to haphazardly let it go. Future wars continued to bring many more soldiers fighting for the rights
of the citizens of our country, to continue to live free.
Fast forward in time, to our time frame, to those same liberties
that America stood on. They have been becoming ever more
increasingly at risk everyday; or even lost.
The Bill of Rights, the First Amendment of the United States Constitution was
meant to protect American citizens for every future
generation, but as we can see almost daily in our news casts,
(that is…what is even allowed to be reported as much is
scripted now and bias) that we’re already losing our freedom
of the press; not to mention our freedom of speech and our
freedom to worship.
There is an increase in terrorist attacks and false flags (covert
operations that are purposely designed to deceive… to create
fear) that signify a presumed preemptive end to everyone
else’s freedom, (speech and religion included) if it does not
comply either with Islam or a one world set of governing rules
resembling communism; which is ultimately bondage in
absolute blindness.
We are becoming desensitized slowly in
effect as if we will naturally hand over our freedoms.
Will we each, both individually and as a whole nation, allow
these freedoms that were fought for, with so much bloodshed,
to be just stripped away and ripped out from each and every
one of us? Or is there a shred of earnestly honest, moral, and
ethical integrity still left within, in order to maintain freedom
for our children and grandchildren, as well as beyond?
Will we hold to the standards of what it means to be or to
become an American citizen legally?
Our ancestors did not have any short-cuts to this process as we now witness due to
‘computer glitches’ that automatically make citizens out of persons about to be deported.
The question is, “Are we still brave enough to fight for our freedom?” Or have we become so complacent and blind that we not only miss the enemy
coming in through the back door, but also the front as well, as
they stand right before us!
Now I am not calling out a particular “religion” as the
“enemy”; but rather the enemy himself which controls that
said religion or any other evil deed upon this green earth.
It is all spiritual warfare my friend and the costs will go much
deeper than just blood and the loss that we presumably see.
Oh yes, this loss will go on forever, for all eternity.
Freedom is much more than what is in our constitution as a “free”
country. Freedom is being absolutely free indeed, forever, and
that particular freedom cost the most ultimate and priceless
blood that we seem to never fully understand; and that was
and still is love.
It was the love of God to reach down to save us from our fall into sin by sending His only begotten Son, which is Christ Jesus the Lord, God in the flesh.
Our world’s leaders and those who may only “think” they are
in control, may continue to play games in order to try to
enslave everyone and anyone who will naively get caught up
in the world’s ways laced with much deceit.
But if we become wise to the enticements and false information, we can avoid
being a part of their trap into the one world order. We can still
find joy in the chaos that our country and our world is quickly
becoming a part of.
How is that possible you may wonder to yourself, or even perhaps out loud? Through Just One being.
Just as in the beginning of time, sin was brought into the
world by one man, it has been removed by One as well. And
that One is in every believer and is much greater than that one,
that enemy, that is in the world.
“Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them:
because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in
the world.”- 1John 4:4
Ultimate Loss or Ultimate Hope?
As the dream brought about feelings of great loss for a nation,
both in what we’ve become in our society and in the enormous
loss of life, there was also imbedded a sense of hope, a true
faith revealed.
When I approached the building and entered in, I was struck by what was immediately before my eyes to see. I had stopped immediately all discontent and disbelief
that was within me, for before me was the Lord’s Supper
placed in plain view of the entrance way.
In the middle of the apostles was Jesus all in bright white. He arose from sitting
and started to approach me, then walked towards my left side.
I knew none other, right then and there, a relief that God was
ultimately in control.
I immediately was compelled to follow my Lord and actually voiced that decision vividly in my dream. I spoke aloud, “Yes! My God is in control!” I knew I
followed Him along my path in life, but ever more so now I
needed to follow only Him still, especially amidst the
confusion and sorrow of a fallen country; in a fallen world.
A very unsettling follow-up of a dream as I close this book out
is one of great proportion that includes the entrapment of
innocence, in a country that was supposed to be and remain
free. It is of the lives of the innocent being ripped away, out
of their homes for enslavement in true captivity.
The scene was outrageously frightening as people of all ages, children
even, were being pulled from their beds for encampment. As
shocking as the scenario is, the real terrorizing part is the
possibility of it becoming a reality.
And although our country has been sliding downhill and
gaining momentum with each new passing day, giving way to
devilish deeds of absurd and horrific extremes, that are
unimaginable in this beautiful, colorful and wonderfully made
creature filled world, we should cling to hope. Let’s keep that
hope alive for everyone.
Just think back to when you were a child full of innocence and
wonder, full of good expectations without worries, full of love
and laughter. We had faith that our needs would be taken care
of and we were excited about each new day.
We do see that reliance in young children’s eyes still; before it is stolen away.
If yours was one that was stolen too soon, don’t let it continue
to corrupt another; because we understand the pain and
therefore shouldn’t want to pass it on. We can all get back
there again. We can regain that trust that the pilgrims had in
the Most High sovereign God.
We can rely on our Heavenly Father to care for us as we put our faith and trust in Him. He has it all because He loves us. Let’s go to Him as young
children again.
So, what may come to be as these elections draw nearer and
nearer with so much at stake; with the ongoing games of
deception within a world of ever growing corruption that is so
infiltrated and among us all now? Time will tell but we have
to still hold onto hope; a hope that’s everlasting.
Perhaps you’re reading this well after the elections and you
think that your future now is set in stone due to the powers
that may be in control politically.
Perhaps you’re very weary now and not really sure where to turn.
It’s not really about government or nations, but the world. Just as it’s not about
any particular people, but rather all people, as we are all living
on this marvelous planet and we are all children under one
creator.
It’s about a message of Salvation coming to a lost world in its
entirety. There is an ultimate message of propitiation for all
of our sins by the Divine Creator Himself. It is about a
message of repentance and remission of sins for all people in
all nations.
The important thing to know and to remember
here is that God is in control and Jesus is the way.
No matter what country you are in or what flag you fly, Jesus
still stands as God is sovereign over all; all countries, all
kingdoms, all people.
Let’s pray for our leaders everywhere and let’s stand strong for Christ; may we only bow down to Him. To better understand that we can all go to Him no
matter what we are facing in life, here is the New Living
Translation of rest for our souls.
‘Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary
and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest”‘-
Matthew 11:28 NLT
May God both Bless and strengthen you and yours.
“I EXHORT therefore, that, first of all, supplications,
prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made
for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority;
that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all
godliness and honesty.”- 1Timothy 2:1-2
“Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted
among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.”-
Psalm 46:10
“Verily I say onto you, that this generation shall not
pass, till all these things be done.” -Mark 13:30
“Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true,
whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are
just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things
are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if
there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think
on these things.”- Philippians 4:8
“THE Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh
me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me
beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he
leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his
name’s sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of
death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me;
thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest
a table before me in the presence of mine enemies:
thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the
days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the
LORD for ever.”- Psalm 23:1-6
***Now ponder and keep in mind this was written in 2015***
And here we are, again…
